Script Consultant / Climate Story Adviser
Commissioners, producers and funders in the TV and film industry want to get more 'climate content' onto our screens.
I have experience of both writing and pitching climate content projects. As well as having two scripted narrative short films produced for theatrical distribution, I have pitched long form projects to TV commissioners and independent film producers.
I have also trained as a Script Reader with The Script Factory and follow their recommended format when providing script coverage / feedback.
I am always happy to read / consult on scripts at any stage in development – fees aligned with the nature of the project.
The Science Bit
I hold a Masters in Psychology from UEL and I'm a graduate member of the British Psychological Society as well as member of the Climate Psychology Alliance. I'm also a Cognitive Behavioural Coach accredited by the British Psychological Society.
My work focuses on our psychological response to climate disruption and how storytelling can move us towards a healthier relationship with Mother Nature. Research paper available upon request.

- judging the Climate Impact category for the Edinburgh Television Awards, alongside representatives from Channel 4, ITV, the BBC and Hat Trick Productions
- consulting on and script editing multiple climate aware screenplays independently and as part of Hag Films
- advising Greenpeace UK on communications and frameworks relating to mental health and facilitating monthly listening circles for members.
