Set in the post-carbon, post-capitalist future, a detective seeks answers when their partner’s body is discovered in a suitcase in a seaside town. Enlisting the help of dope-smoking seagulls, gun-running polar bears and a drag queen dachshund, they have to go deep below the surface to face an old enemy threatening the survival of a greener, cleaner world.
RED KITE RISING is a dark fantasy comedy intended to be a deeply engaging, fun and safe space for players to develop and express their Environmental Identity. It was developed as a concept for the BFI-funded programme "Develop Create XR" and reached final interview stage.

The Cailleach
Concept for an immersive gaming experience

A fantasy game for witches of all ages.
In the time shrouded in mist and mystery, the goddesses Cailleach and Birgid lived in perfect harmony, watching over their beautiful world from their mountain top in the Land of Alba. Cailleach awakened every Samhain, taking human form to watch over the Winter months, turning back into stone at Beltain. Birgid blossomed at Beltain, nurturing the world with her warmth and fertility before going back to sleep at Samhain.
But now the seasons are disrupted. For the first time in all millennia, Cailleach and Birgid are awake at the same time. And they don’t like it. Their arguments roll as thunder down the mountains, churning the seas and ripping the trees from their roots. The cacophony wakes the long resting Storm Hags who set out across the world, wreaking relentless havoc on human and more-than-human alike.

One witch is chosen. You.
