Director

I initially trained on the Young Vic’s Springboard programme before specialising in the development of new writing. I directed multiple new writing showcases, rehearsed readings and scratch performances, for writers including Camilla Whitehill, Judy Upton and Jason Hewitt.

For the stage I took a particular interest in physical theatre and movement work, training with Frantic Assembly and regularly collaborating with Movement Directors Shelby Williams (Matthew Bourne company) and Lucie Pankhurst (The Other Bennett Sister, Heartstopper).

Most notably, my final production before COVID, OLD FOOLS, received multiple 5 star reviews and was The Independent's Pick of London Theatre for the entirety of its run.

My directing work in film is of an experimental nature. Most recently I created the poetic documentary TRANSCENDENCE, with trans artist Toby Vincer, which received a work in progress screening at the Folkestone Documentary Festival.
